Sherry Klinger is a seasoned publicist who has been in the PR business for over 20 years. Following several high-profile PR campaigns, she was twice honored by the mayor of Los Angeles for her role in promoting Los Angeles businesses worldwide.
Klinger's client list comprises a variety of industries—such as general consumer, health and fitness, food and beverage, medical, fashion and beauty, entertainment, nonprofit, travel, and automotive—with clients ranging in size from corporations to individuals.
Klinger's phenomenal publicity campaign for
Rachel Perry, the pioneer of natural skin care, was acknowledged by Executive Magazine when it wrote: "It was impossible to turn the pages of any publication last year, from the Los Angeles Times to ...Women's Wear Daily, without being exposed to editorial coverage of Rachel Perry."
Musician's Institute was able to turn a small music school into the world's most famous school for rock-and-roll after Klinger obtained a front-page story in the Wall Street Journal, along with dozens of international feature stories and radio and TV appearances. The school's staggering growth prompted a move to much larger facilities, and the owners sold it at a fantastic price.
Klinger's work on behalf of the
"I Have a Dream" Program brought world recognition to its founder, Eugene Lang, a philanthropist who funded college scholarships for disadvan-taged sixth-graders. As part of the massive high-speed publicity obtained for him by Klinger, he was also featured as ABC's Person of the Week. The "I Have a Dream" Program's fame attracted new sponsors, and major donations poured in.
Klinger's worldwide travels have inspired her to take on accounts such as the country of
Kenya. She planned press junkets to promote that African country and later designed highly successful U.S. press tours for Kenyan dignitaries.
A masterpiece campaign for the
BioSlim All-Natural Weight Loss System took a brand-new company to worldwide recognition in little more than a year. Klinger, who co-founded the company, also helped create the half-hour infomercial that became one of the largest-grossing infomercials of its time.
Early on, Klinger became one of the youngest delegates to the
National Presidential Convention, serving on behalf of the president of the United States. She later received a political appointment from the White House and worked for a year in Washington, D.C., before forming The Klinger Group in her native Los Angeles. Her extensive and well-rounded experience gives her the ability to work with clients on any level.
